Outtings with Baby Ellie

This is a question - Why does it take so long to leave the house for a couple of hours with a baby? I wish I had an answer, but I don't understand, why I am now so much slower than before Ellie was born. Today was a perfect example of this new trend in my life. I woke up at 7:20 to get ready to leave for MOPS at 8:40. This should have been no problem, but a series of mishaps and I ended up not leaving the house until 8:55. I think that the lack of sleep is finally catching up with me. I am asking myself when she will sleep through the night, and I know that it will happen in the future weeks or months. She will be four months old on Thursday, and I have been told that six months is the magic age. Is this really true?? Any advise on getting Ellie to sleep through the night is welcome.
